World Transplant Games 2023 at Perth, Australia -

From the 15- 21 April the World Transplant Games in 2023 were held in Perth, Australia. This year as Team Managers, ORGAN India took the largest contingent of 32 players, 2 support staff, 5 members of Team Management and 3 volunteers ever to go from India to the World Transplant Games 2023 at Perth, Australia.
Team India made a splash at the World Transplant Games and achieved an exceptional feat by winning 35 medals and came back to magnificent receptions in their various cities and communities. Participation in transplant sports a very effective way to raise awareness amongst the public across India, and we hope to take a bigger team to Dresden, Germany in 2025.
The transplant athletes’ representation in this Global Event has raised tremendous awareness across the country on organ donation and transplant.
We applaud the efforts and determination of our transplant athletes, who have contributed to the nation’s success by participating as well as securing gold, silver, and bronze medals.
