World Transplant Games 2021 on 28.5.2021 – 04.06.2021

ORGAN India is the official supporting partner of the World Transplant Games 2021! As the offline games were cancelled due to covid, the event was conducted virtually with all participants participating by uploading their timings in various sports. This gave us a unique opportunity as a team to unite our community by participating in the 5K Anyway event in support of organ donation and transplant. The team from India was recognized and appreciated at the global level, and our team won gold in cycling. We were awarded the gold medal in cycling, which was won by Rajiv Maikhuri, and the silver medal for being MOST ENGAGED ON SOCIAL MEDIA along with several other medals.

Our participants won eight medals among them, and it gave us a unique opportunity to engage with transplant patients who are sportspersons. Three representatives from India were invited for a coffee chat with transplant recipients, organ donor families, and medical professionals from across the world.
