World Kidney Day Celebration at Metro Hospital, Faridabad -

Metro Hospital Faridabad celebrated this World Kidney Day by organizing a health talk in hospital campus on 17th March 2019.ORGAN India was invited on this occasion to conduct a talk on organ donation. Sunayana Singh, CEO, ORGAN India gave introduction about the organization and Dr. Geetika Vashisth, Senior Project Manager, ORGAN India conducted the talk. . A stall was set up for those interested to take the pledge.Dr. Sourabh Sharma, Project Manager, ORGAN India addressed the queries of the visitors. Mr. Madan Mohan Junejaji shared his overwhelming experience of donating organs of his deceased son and saving many lives. Topics related to kidney failure and kidney transplant and prevention of kidney diseases were also discussed by Senior doctors at the hospital namely, Dr. Gaurav Sahay (Nephrologist), Dr. Rajiv Setia (Urologist), Dr. Sagar Gupta (Kidney Transplant Surgeon) and Dr. Anup Gulati (Urologist). A dance presentation and an interesting quiz were conducted by the hospital team for the patients and their attendants as a part of the cultural event.
