Webinar on Brain Death Determination and Organ Donation with SOTTO J&K on 11.6.2022

ORGAN India, in collaboration with the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO), Jammu & Kashmir, hosted a webinar on Brain Death Determination and Organ Donation. The webinar aimed to raise awareness among doctors and heads of departments in their efforts to initiate deceased donations in the state. Dr. Sandeep Vaishya, Director Department of Neurosurgery, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram was the guest speaker for the webinar. The webinar also saw the presence of Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal Government Medical College, Jammu; Dr Elias Sharma, Nodal officer SOTTO of Jammu and Kashmir and HOD Urology Government Medical College, Jammu; Dr Sanjeev Puri, Joint Director SOTTO of Jammu and Kashmir; and Dr Irfan Lone, the Chief Transplant Coordinator.
