Seminar on Deceased Organ Donation with CMO Office Rohtak on 14.9.2022

A Sensitization Program on Organ Donation & Transplant was organized by ORGAN India at CHMO Office, State Training Centre, Health & Family Welfare, Rohtak, on Wednesday 14th Sept. 2022. The session was aimed at disseminating knowledge on organ donation, law governing organ donation, brain death declaration and organ allocation process. The speakers were Dr. P.N Gupta, Director & HOD, Nephrology & Transplant Surgery, Trilly Rachel Mathew – Manager, Organ Transplants, Paras Hospitals, and Dr. Jeetendra Sharma, Head Critical Care Artemis Hospitals Gurugram.

The program was the outcome of ORGAN India’s collaboration with District Administration, Rohtak under the CMGGA Program to carry out activities related to organ donation and transplant including awareness and sensitization programs for medical professionals. We specially thank the CHMO of Rohtak Dr. Anil Birla who appreciated the initiative by ORGAN India and encouraged all doctors to come forward for the cause.
