Seminar on Deceased Organ Donation with Civil Hospital, Gurgaon 9.6.2022

ORGAN India’ MOU with the District Administrations of Gurugram, to implement the initiatives to create awareness on organ donation in the state saw the first seminar with the medical community. It was organized at Principal Medical Office, Civil Hospital, Sector 10, Gurugram on 9th June 2022 under Haryana Advocacy project to carry out activities related to organ donation and transplant, including awareness and sensitizations programs for medical professionals. The session was aimed at disseminating knowledge on organ donation, law governing organ donation, brain death declaration and organ allocation process.

The session was held by Dr P.N Gupta- Director & HOD, Nephrology & Transplant Surgery, Trilly Rachel Mathew- Manager, Organ Transplants, Paras Hospitals, Dr Jeetendra Sharma – Head Critical Care Artemis Hospitals Gurugram, Dr Archana Kumari- Consultant Coordination, National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO)
