Press Event – WTG 2023 on 2nd May 2023 at India Habitat Centre

ORGAN India, Official Team Managers of Team India at the World Transplant Games held a Press Conference at India Habitat Centre to proudly welcomed back Team India after their spectacular and spirited performance at the 24th Edition of the World Transplant Games at Perth, Australia.

Over 20 of the 32 athletes who made India proud at the WTG with present in Delhi where they were felicitated, and each player narrated their journey from organ transplantation to the World Transplant Games.

Trustees of the Parashar Foundation, Anika Parashar, Vidur Parashar and Eeda Gujral Chopra were present at the event, and speakers on the dias also included Kunti Jhaveri, Chairperson, Dinesh Vyas Trust, Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice-President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Dr. Vipin Kaushal, Nodal Officer – Regional Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation, North Zone, Satyajit Gupta, Head, India Legal & CSR, EXL, Priti Agarwal Director GK Winding Wires, Dr. Ashish Sharma, HOD Renal Transplant, PGIMER, Chandigarh and Shankar Arora, Team Manager.
Sunayana Singh, CEO ORGAN India officiated the event and the energy, excitement and gratitude in the air was infectious.

Whistling Woods International representative Ms. Gitanjali Bahl and singer Raag Suri presented the Team Song ‘Hissa Bann’.
