Bangalore based 31-year-old Manjunath Nagraj chose his passion over his profession and decided to cycle across India to spread awareness on organ donation. Manjunath has cycled the length and breadth of the country, covering a staggering distance of 7,000 km! He covered a distance of 4,000 km from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in 40 days, followed by a second phase where he covered a distance of 3,000 km from Ahmedabad to Guwahati in 20 days.
On November 2nd, 2019, Manjunath came to Delhi for the fine leg of his solo expedition. A small cycling event was organized at India gate for which ORGAN India partnered with NOTTO. A group of cyclists, led by Manjunath, were flagged off at NOTTO headquarters by NOTTO Director Dr. Vasanthi Ramesh, NOTTO Team and ORGAN India Team, and then cycled to India Gate where he was felicitated by NOTTO and snacks and refreshments were served to mark the conclusion of his expedition.
We wish Manjunath all the best for future endeavours and hope to see him again very soon!
