Medical Fraternity Sensitization at Civil Hospital, Farukh Nagar, Gurugram on 2nd March 2023

Under Haryana’s Chief Minister’s Angdaan Mahadaan Yojna, ORGAN India delivered a talk on organ donation at the Civil Hospital, Farukh Nagar, Dist. Gurugram on 2nd March 2023. Dr. Sourabh Sharma delivered this talk from ORGAN India team. Approximately 30-35 Asha workers and few medical interns attended this talk. Dr. Sourabh Sharma explained the importance of organ donation, went through the Transplantation of Human Organs & Tissues Act and highlighted how smaller hospitals can help the cause recognizing and declaring brain deaths. He also asked everyone to consider pledging their organs during their lifetime by just filling up a simple form online.
