Event ‘Dehdaniyon Ka Utsav’ at
Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi.

ORGAN India was invited to ‘‘Dehdaniyon Ka Utsav’, an event or-ganised in the presence of the Hon-ourable President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji at the Rastrapati Bha-wan by NGO Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti on November 10, 2017. Ms Kirti Pa-rashar, Chief Trustee of Parashar Foundation delivered a speech on her personal experience of being an organ recipient.

Mrs Parashar talked about her chal-lenges during the journey of finding a new heart, how she overcame them, leading to the birth ORGAN India. Others who had donated body of their loved ones and who had pledged their bodies to medical science were also present. President Ram Nath Kovind complimented all those promoting or-gan and body donation in India and spoke about the need to spread awareness on organ donation across the country.

Also present at the event was Honourable Minister of State, PMO Dr Jitendra Singh who released a book on organ donation by Prabhat Publishers and edited by Mr Arun Anand. A very special thank you to Mr Alok Kumar, President Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti and other members who organised the won-derful event.
