Daan Ka Gyaan workshop for faculty at Amity International School, Mayur Vihar on 19.11.2022

At Amity International School Mayur Vihar, its Youth Power team- Akshya Daan organized a workshop – Daan ka Gyaan for all faculty members in association with ORGAN INDIA on 19th November 2022.

The session began with a short game conducted by the Akshay Daan team which was helpful in checking their prerequisite knowledge on organ donation and transplant. Dr Sourabh Sharma from ORGAN India then conducted a 1.5-hour session with the teachers to make them aware about basic information related to organ donation. The aim of the workshop was to bust myths that the audience think are true which are also holding them back from becoming organ donors. The session was interactive and effective. Many faculty members also cleared their doubts regarding the donation procedure.

Some teachers also shared their experiences with organ donation that they have witnessed in regard to a close family member. It was a heart touching discussion which closed with the vote of thanks.
