As a part of our Let’s Get ORGANised campaign in Delhi Schools, ORGAN India conducted an awareness session with faculty and staff of Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad on March 23, 2018.
The session was attended by 100 faculty members, who exhibited great enthusiasm and curiosity about theconcept of Organ Donation. Few of the staff members pledged their organs as well.
Two talks on organ donation were conducted at M.S. Saraswati Sr. Sec. School, Rohtak for 140 10th and 12th-grade students. The sessions were conducted by Aprajita Verma, COO of ORGAN India. Radio Sandesh 89.6 FM, a radio station in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh has become popular in the local community of Bijnor in a very short time and has an average of over 12000 listeners per day. 30-minute shows on organ donation and transplant are aired on Sundays at 10AM and repeated on Tuesdays at 10AM.
