ORGAN India was invited to speak about the World Transplant Games and the role of organ donation in saving lives, especially for patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The program was organized by Max Super Specialty Hospital to mark World Kidney Day, and was attended by around 200 participants.
Dr. Anant Kumar, Head of Urology and Renal Transplant, delivered an insightful lecture on CKD, its causes, and ways to prevent kidney failure. Representing ORGAN India, Ms. Sunayana Singh spoke about the World Transplant Games and how the platform inspires transplant recipients to lead active and healthy lives.
Prasoon Kandpal, an event organiser by profession and a World Transplant athlete, shared his inspiring journey and explained how a kidney transplant helped him regain his life and return to sports, bringing his life back on track.
