Times Organ Donation Drive Panel Discussion, Mumbai

As part of this year’s Organ Donation Drive by Times of India, a panel discussion was organized in Mumbai headed by Shri. Rajiv Nivatkar,- Medical Education Commissioner, Maharashtra, and attended by Dr Sanjay Pandey, Head Andrology and Reconstructive Urology, Kokilaben Dirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Dr S K Mathur, President of Zonal Transplant Coordination Centre (ZTCC),Mumbai, Dr Santosh Shetty, CEO Kokilaben Dirubhai Ambani Hospital, Ms. Jaya Jairam, Project Director, Mohan Foundation and Ms. Aprajita Verma, COO, ORGAN India. The discussion was aimed to collate thoughts to boost awareness and motivation among the public as well as medical fraternities to increase organ donation in Maharashtra and thus lead the state in organ donation numbers.
