Dr. Sourabh Sharma conducted a seminar at Park Hospital, Palam, Gurugram on 13th November titled “Introduction to Organ Donation and Transplantation.”
The session was attended by around 35 senior consultants, senior residents, ICU doctors, nurses, and other paramedical staff, reflecting strong interest from the medical community.
During the seminar, Dr. Sharma shared detailed insights on organ donation, addressing key facts, clarifying misconceptions, and highlighting the crucial role of healthcare professionals in strengthening organ donation awareness. He emphasized that when the medical fraternity is well-informed and proactive, society as a whole stand to benefit significantly.
The session was made possible through the initiative of Dr. Neeraj Saini, Nephrologist, whose efforts in organizing and encouraging participation deserve special appreciation.
