On March 4, 2025, Kalindi College, Delhi University, hosted an impactful awareness session on organ donation and transplantation as part of its academic fest, BIOCENOSIS. The event was organized by the Biochemical Society and attended by around 50 students eager to learn about this life-saving cause. The session was conducted by Dr. Sourabh Sharma, Manager, Projects & Outreach, ORGAN India, who provided in-depth insights into the importance of organ donation, the transplantation process, and its impact on saving lives. He emphasized the urgent need for increased awareness and addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation. The students actively participated, engaging in discussions and expressing a keen interest in contributing to this noble cause.
