Hindustan Zinc-ORGAN India Collaboration, District Udaipur

ORGAN India is proud to collaborate with Hindustan Zinc to raise awareness on organ donation and transplant in 5 districts of Rajasthan. A series of talks in Udaipur District of Rajasthan took place from 17^th to the 20^th of October 2023 at 7 schools, farmers groups, women’s self-help groups and hospitals supported by Hindustan Zinc.

Rajkiya Uchh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Oda, Udaipur, 17th October 2023
The session was attended by 110 students and 7 teachers.

Rajkiya Uchh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Chanavda, Udaipur on 17th October 2023- The session was attended by 90 students of grade 9-12th. and 15 teachers and 8 women from SHG Group

DAV Zinc Vidyalaya, Zawar on 18th October 2023 - The session was attended by 90 students and 10 teachers.

Zinc Kaushal Kendra, Debari, Udaipur, 19th October 2023 - The session was attended by 55 trainees and 6 faculty members.

Meeting with farmers, Debari, Udaipur, Rajasthan, 20th October 2023 - The session was attended by 35 farmers and their family members.

Meeting with group of women from SHG, Debari, Udaipur, Rajasthan, 20th October 2023 - The session was attended by 20 Women.

Zinc Central Hospital, Debari, Udaipur, Rajasthan, 20th October 2023 - The session was attended by 20 Hospital Staff including Medical Officer.

Radio Maharani in collaboration with ORGAN India, hosted a live show featuring Mr. Sushil Saini, a living kidney donor, and his recipient. The session highlighted their inspiring journey, shedding light on the significance of organ donation and the transformative impact it has on lives.

Awareness session for Teachers at Navyug School, Pandara Road

Radio Sandesh 89.6 FM, a radio station in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh has become popular in the local community of Bijnor in a very short time and has an average of over 12000 listeners per day. 30-minute shows on organ donation and transplant are aired on Sundays at 10AM and repeated on Tuesdays at 10AM.
