On Children’s Day at Amity International School Mayur Vihar, Akshya Daan, the team working for the cause of organ donation, organized a canteen for students of all classes as a fundraiser for Rahul Prajapati who aspires to represent India in the World Transplant Games.
The canteen had a variety of food items and beverages including momos, chowmein, lemon tang, orange tang, Corn etc., which were made by students and teachers and were sold at affordable prices for children.
Our team was able to raise Rs. 20,000 in support of Mr Prajapati. The team of volunteers participated enthusiastically in this noble endeavor and served nearly 600 students. Their team has pledged to continue to spread the message across to make Mr Rahul’s dream, a reality.
