50th Golden Jubilee Function and launch of Manual for Transplant Patients launch, PGIMER Chandigarh

ORGAN India in collaboration with the Kidney Transplant Department of PGIMER Chandigarh and the Organ Transplant Trust, released a booklet for transplant recipients, highlighting the care required after transplantation. The Booklet was released at PGIMER at the inaugural event of ‘The Golden Anniversary Summit on Kidney & Pancreas Transplantation: 50 Years of Progress’ on the golden anniversary of the first transplant performed at PGIMER Chandigarh. Chief Guest and Member of Parliament from Chandigarh, Ms. Kirron Kher released the booklet along with Prof. Vivek Lal, Director PGIMER, Dr. Krishan Kumar, Director National Organ Transplant Programme, MoHFW Dr. Vipin Kaushal, Medical Superintendent, PGI, Dr. Ashish Sharma, Head Renal Transplant PGI. Ms. Sunayana Singh, CEO ORGAN India, presented the booklet to all the dignitaries.
