We were honored to be invited as faculty at the 17th Annual International Conference of NATCO in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This prestigious event was hosted alongside the 34th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT), with this year’s theme being “Ethics in Action.”
The conference brought together over 300 transplant coordinators, along with numerous NGOs, ROTTOs, SOTTOs, and other organizations dedicated to the field of organ donation. Dr. Sourabh Sharma, Manager – Projects & Outreach, and Aprajita Verma, COO of ORGAN India, represented our organization at the event.
Aprajita Verma participated as faculty, delivering an insightful session that addressed the various challenges faced in raising awareness about organ donation. She also shared practical strategies and innovative projects implemented by ORGAN India to overcome these barriers, making a tangible impact on the ground.
The event served as an invaluable platform for exchanging knowledge, fostering collaborations, and discussing the ethical considerations in organ donation and transplantation. It was a privilege to contribute to such a significant gathering of experts and stakeholders, united in their commitment to advancing the cause of organ donation in India.
