All our activities are carried out under the aegis of NOTTO (National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation) which is the apex body for organ donation in India, which became active in 2015 under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

 The NOTTO logo is on our donor cards, films and IEC material as approved by them. ORGAN India has close ties with NOTTO and MoHFW and is regularly called for important meetings at the Ministry when policy and future plans are discussed.

ORGAN India CEO was felicitated for the NGOs contribution to the cause of organ donation by Honourable Union Health Minister Shri JP Nadda at the Walkathon organized on India’s Organ Donation Day 2017.

ORGAN India, the initiative of Foundation was selected as one of the three best NGOs in India working for organ donation at the 8th Indian Organ Donation Day 2017 on November 27, 2017.

On behalf of the Parashar Foundation, our CEO, Ms. Sunayana Singh received the award from the Honourable Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Shrimati Anupriya Patel, Hon’ble Health Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr. C. Vijaya Bhaskar, Dr. (Prof). Jagadish Prasad, DGHS, MoHFW, Dr. Vimal Bhandari, Director, NOTTO.

ORGAN India received the NGO Leadership Award 2017 at the Delhi NGO Leadership Awards 2017 ceremony organized by World CSR Day on December 22, 2017. The award aims at recognizing leaders who have contributed value and made a change as a strategic tool for sustainable growth, and to recognize the best practices in the NGO industry.

ORGAN India, Parashar Foundation was extremely privileged to be awarded at the Akhil Bhartiya Mahadani Maharishi Dadhichi Samman Samaroh. The event was organised on 19th May 2018, by Shine India Foundation in Kota, Rajasthan.

The award was presented in recognition of the excellent and invaluable work of the ORGAN India team to promote the social cause of organ donation in India.

ORGAN India, Parashar Foundation attended the NATCO Conference in Chandigarh on October 9, 2016. We won an award for best research paper at the conference in Chandigarh. Our paper on the Transplant Guide, (an online directory of all Transplant Hospitals in the country with all the relevant details that a transplant recipient would need) won the award.

ORGAN India, Parashar Foundation was felicitated by NOTTO (National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization). The 9th Indian Organ Donation Day was held by NOTTO and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on 27th November 2018 at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.

Hon’ble Ministers of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Shri. Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Smt. Anupriya Patel presented the award to the foundation.

Launch of Body Donation Directory

The Pan-India Body Donation Directory was launched by the Honourable Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Shri J.P. Nadda on May 12, 2017 at an event” Organ & Whole-Body Donation Awareness Campaign 2016-2017″ organised by Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi and Dadhichi Deh Daan Samiti.

Our Trustees Mrs. Kirti Parashar, Ms. Anika Parashar, CEO ORGAN India Ms. Sunayana Singh, Chief Consultant Ms. Eeda Gujral Chopra, Project Managers Dr. Sourabh Sharma and Jasneet Kaur were present for the launch, along with Shri Alok Kumar, President Dadhichi Deh Daan Samiti, Dr. Sheetal Joshi, Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy, Lady Hardinge Medical College among others.

The directory was launched in the presence of families of individuals who have donated their body towards medical science.

Network and Alliance of Transplant Coordinators In the 14th International Conference of NATCO there were three best papers as decided by the judges.  Free paper presentation award.

ORGAN India’s paper titled “Radio – The way Forward for Mass Information Dissemination on Organ Donation” has won the award.

ORGAN India was felicitated by the Minister and NOTTO for their role as Best Supportive Stakeholder at the 3rd of August, 2023 Indian Organ donation Day celebrations held by the National Organ Tissue Transplant Organization, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare at Manekshaw Auditorium Delhi.

Hon’ble Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya honored and felicitated the Indian transplant athletes for their incredible performance at the World Transplant Games 2023 and ORGAN for their role as Team Managers for the Indian Contingent
