An awareness programme on Organ Donation was organised on 11 August 2026 at the Government Polytechnic College for Women, Faridabad, Haryana. The programme was attended by around 500 students and teachers. The session aimed to spread awareness about the importance of organ donation and encourage people to consider becoming organ donors. Divya from ORGAN India was the speaker for the programme. She spoke about the significance of organ donation, the process of pledging organs, and how one donor can help save multiple lives. She also addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation and encouraged students to share the message with their families and communities. The session was informative and inspiring, leaving the participants with a greater understanding of the value of organ donation and its potential to give patients a second chance at life.
