A training lecture on “Living & Deceased Organ Donation in Law” was conducted for 5–6 interns and the organizational team to strengthen their understanding of the legal and ethical framework governing organ donation and transplantation in India. The session was delivered by Ms. Jasmeet Kaur, who provided a comprehensive overview of the relevant legal provisions, eligibility criteria, consent procedures, authorization processes, and the distinctions between living and deceased organ donation. She also discussed the roles and responsibilities of healthcare professionals in ensuring compliance with the law while maintaining ethical standards. The interactive training encouraged participants to ask questions, clarify doubts, and gain practical insights, enhancing their knowledge and preparedness to support organ donation awareness and transplantation-related initiatives.
