ORGAN India conducted an organ donation awareness workshop at Sudha Medical College, Jagpura, Kota, for medical and nursing students. The session was organized in collaboration with Shine India Foundation and aimed to educate future healthcare professionals about brain death, deceased organ donation, transplantation laws, and ethical practices in organ donation. Dr. Sourabh Sharma, Projects & Outreach Manager, ORGAN India, delivered the session and emphasized the importance of increasing public awareness to improve organ donation rates and save more lives through transplantation. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in discussions and asked questions related to organ donation and transplantation. Dr. Kulwant Gaur, Founder of Shine India Foundation, highlighted that one deceased organ donor can save up to nine lives and encouraged students to become advocates for the cause. The college administration appreciated the initiative and presented a certificate of appreciation to ORGAN India and Shine India Foundation.
