The 4th edition of the Marathon organised by KD Hospital, Ahmedabad, was a truly heartfelt initiative dedicated to raising awareness about organ donation. Around 10,000 participants took part in the 32 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km races, making it a remarkable celebration of fitness and a powerful cause. The 5 km route beautifully covered Ahmedabad’s iconic heritage stretch, adding cultural pride to the event.
The marathon was held at the scenic Sabarmati Riverfront, where energy, enthusiasm, and commitment towards saving lives through organ donation were clearly visible. ORGAN India was invited as the Hope Partner, and 14 members from Team India proudly participated in the run to support the cause.
At the end of the marathon, KD Hospital felicitated Team India athletes and ORGAN India for their dedicated work in promoting organ donation awareness.
