An awareness talk on organ and body donation was conducted during the prayer meeting of Late Shri Sharan Kumar in Gurgaon, attended by around 70 family members and well-wishers. In keeping with his values and commitment to society, Shri Sharan Kumar’s body was donated to Vardhman Mahavir Medical College for medical education and research,Delhi, with the full support of his family.
Members of the ORGAN India team — Ms. Aprajita, Dr Sourabh Sharma, and Divya—were present at the prayer meeting. Dr Sourabh Sharma from ORGAN India addressed the attendees, speaking about the importance of body and organ donation and explaining how Shri Sharan Kumar’s decision will contribute to the training of medical students and advancement of healthcare. He also acknowledged the family’s courage and generosity in supporting this noble decision, helping attendees better understand the lasting impact such contributions create for society.
