ORGAN India conducted an awareness session on organ donation for the nursing and support staff of Landour Community Hospital on 29th March 2025. The talk was particularly impactful, attended by 20 participants, as the hospital had no prior experience with organ donation and limited awareness on the subject. During the session, contact details of eye banks in Dehradun were shared, providing valuable resources for the attendees. The staff expressed enthusiasm about gaining new knowledge and committed to initiating conversations about organ donation with patients and within their communities. ORGAN India extends its gratitude to Landour Community Hospital for accommodating the session on short notice and remains optimistic that this effort will contribute to spreading awareness about organ donation.
