On June 11, 2025, the ORGAN India team had the opportunity to attend an insightful training lecture on Body Donation conducted by Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti, a prominent organization dedicated to promoting the noble cause of body and organ donation. The session was led by Dr. Vishal Chadha and Shri Deepak Goel, who provided a comprehensive overview of the importance, process, and legal framework surrounding body donation in India. They elaborated on how body donation plays a vital role in advancing medical education and training, especially for future doctors and surgeons. The lecture highlighted the critical difference between organ and body donation, addressed common myths and misconceptions, and offered practical information on how individuals can pledge their bodies for donation after death. The ORGAN India team benefited greatly from this training, gaining valuable knowledge to support their ongoing outreach and awareness efforts.
