Radio Gunjan FM 91.2 MHZ, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh

ORGAN India began its radio journey with the Gunjan Organisation for Community Development in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh in April 2019. The radio show ‘Jeevan Ek Anmol Uphaar’ was first broadcast on Apna Radio 91.2 Gunjan FM to raise awareness in the local communities on organ donation and transplant. For the past 4 years, the shows are being aired for half an hour three times a week, with a new episode aired every Sunday at 7 am and 12 noon. Repeat broadcasts are done every Monday and Thursday at 7 am and 12 noon. 24 new episodes are aired yearly and a total of 120 shows including repeat shows are broadcast. The shows are well-received by listeners.

Radio Gunjan FM 91.2 MHz Community Radio Station’s 24 x 7 broadcasts reach an estimated population of 6 Lakhs in a radius of 30 km around Dharamshala. As of March 2024, a total of 1022 shows including 171 unique shows have been aired on Gunjan Radio.
