To mark World Liver Day, ORGAN India, in collaboration with the Medical Students Association of India (MSAI), hosted an educational webinar on “ABO Incompatible and Swap Liver Transplant.” The session featured Dr. Gursagar Singh Sahota, Chief Liver Transplant Surgeon at DMC Ludhiana, who shared his experience of performing over 500 liver transplants. Dr. Sahota provided valuable insights into the challenges of ABO-incompatible transplants and the ethical and logistical aspects of swap transplants, along with real-life case studies. The webinar saw enthusiastic participation from around 40 MSAI medical students across India.ORGAN India extends sincere thanks to Dr. Sahota and the students for their engagement and interest in advancing awareness on liver transplantation.
