Date: September 2, 2024

Over 7 days, 28 of India’s transplant athletes underwent a comprehensive physical, nutritional, and psychological assessments at Manav Rachna University and Manav Rachna Sports Science Centre, (MRSSC) held in collaboration with ORGAN India. The camp ensured that athletes are prepared for the World Transplant Games 2025 at Dresden, Germany. They powered through strength and conditioning sessions, refined our skills with Technical Training for Badminton, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis at the Manav Rachna Sports Academy under the guidance of their talented coaches. Additional technical training for football provided by the Zinc Football Academy gave our Football team a boost, as did the coaching support from New Petanque Association of Puducherry for our Petanque team. Athletes also gained invaluable insights from inspiring guest lectures with prominent sporting personalities. Every step brings us closer to the podium, and we’re ready to make every moment count! Our deepest gratitude to Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, Manav Rachna University, Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor, Manav Rachna International Institute Of Research And Studies, Dr. NC Wadhwa, Vice Chairman, Dr. OP Bhalla Foundation, Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Director Sports, Manav Rachna International School, Mr. Ronjan Sodhi, Mentor, MRSSC, Dr. Sumit Arora, Head, MRSSC and their incredible team for their continued support for the past 3 years to transplant athletes and the cause of organ donation.
