An online training lecture was conducted on 18 February 2026 for six members of ORGAN India on the functioning of the various committees under the THOTA Act. The session explained the structure, roles, and approval processes of these committees and how they work together in transplant-related cases. It also covered the importance of proper documentation, following legal guidelines, and maintaining transparency and ethical practices. The training helped participants gain clarity on regulatory procedures and strengthened their understanding of the systems that support smooth and accountable organ donation and transplantation activities across institutions.
