A meaningful and engaging talk on organ donation was held at Geekay Winding Wires Unit 1 by ORGAN India. The session was led by Sunayana Singh, CEO of ORGAN India, who shared valuable insights on the importance of organ donation and how it can save lives.
The session was further enriched by the presence of three inspiring Indian transplant athletes—Harshvardhan Singh, Hitesh Sharma, and Amit Sharma—who joined in person from Jaipur. As kidney transplant recipients who have gone on to represent India internationally, they shared their personal journeys and achievements, including winning multiple medals at global platforms such as the World Transplant Games 2023 and 2025. Hearing directly from them made the session especially engaging and motivating for everyone present.
The talk was very well received. Special thanks to Priti and Sameer Agarwal for consistently promoting the cause of organ donation, as well as supporting our transplant team, and to VP and Plant Head Mr. Ranjan Aggarwal for sharing his personal experience of his father’s body donation.
