Round Table India and Ladies Circle India hosted a powerful online session aimed at raising awareness about the life-changing impact of organ donation. The event featured Ms. Sunayana Singh, CEO of ORGAN India and Country Representative (India) for the World Transplant Games Federation, as the keynote speaker.
The talk illuminated the urgent need for organ donors in India and emphasized how one act of generosity can offer someone a second chance at life, while also addressing common myths surrounding organ donation.
There was also a special guest invited by ORGAN India. Mr. Dharmendra Kumar Soti, Superintendent at the Central Bureau of Narcotics, Jaipur, and a two-time kidney transplant recipient shared his extraordinary story. His journey from patient to champion is nothing short of inspirational, having won 2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals at the World Transplant Games since 2013, he stands as a living testament to the power of organ donation.
The event was held virtually, allowing participants from across the country to join in and engage with the topic. Round Table India’s initiative to host this event reflects its commitment to social impact and health awareness that can lead to real change.
