Organ donation talk at Paras Hospital, Gurugram, 13th February 2026

A seminar on “Introduction to Organ Donation and Transplantation” was organized by the Department of Nephrology at Paras Hospital on 13th February 2016 for doctors and ICU nursing staff. A total of 45 participants attended the seminar.

Dr. Sourabh Sharma from ORGAN India addressed the participants and emphasized the crucial role of ICU staff and casualty doctors in improving India’s organ donation rate by timely identification and certification of potential brain death cases in the ICU.

Head of Nephrology, Dr. P. N. Gupta, also encouraged all participants to take an active role in strengthening the hospital’s cadaver organ donation program, highlighting how such initiatives can benefit many patients and help save numerous lives.
