A live radio show dedicated to the month of October—marking World Sight Day—was hosted by Gurgaon Ki Awaz, a community radio station in Gurgaon, in collaboration with ORGAN India. The program focused on eye donation, covering crucial aspects such as the causes of corneal damage, available treatments, the process of cornea donation, eligibility conditions, ways to contact eye banks, and how to pledge one’s eyes. It also highlighted how this simple act of generosity can transform someone’s life.
