On 9th February 2025, Team ORGAN attended the session organized by DIGC, NATCO, and the World Congress of Nephrology in Delhi, focusing on donor autonomy and ethical challenges in transplantation. Key topics included a donor’s dilemma, the gender question beyond numbers, recipients’ perspectives, the role of transplant coordinators as donor advocates, and insights from nephrologists. The event provided valuable ground-level voices, enriching the team’s understanding of the complex social and ethical issues shaping transplant justice in India.
