An Organ Donation Awareness Talk was held on October 16, 2025, at the Seminar Hall, GIPMER, for the Neurology and Neurosurgery staff. The session aimed to educate the participants about organ donation, brain stem death, and to dispel common myths surrounding the topic. Dr. Sourabh Sharma initiated the session with an insightful talk on the importance and process of organ donation. Dr. Anita Jagetia further elaborated on the concept of brain death and its certification process in detail. Dr. Muhammad Abid Geelani, Medical Director, encouraged everyone to contribute actively and take small but meaningful steps to promote organ donation. Ms. Sunayana Singh, CEO of ORGAN India, also addressed the gathering and shared information about the World Transplant Games, highlighting the inspiring achievements of transplant recipients.
