Special Event in ISOT & NATCO 2023, Kolkata

The 16th Annual Conference of the Network and Alliance of Transplant Coordinators (NATCO) “Moving Towards Uniformity”, (under the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation) was held in Kolkata on October 7-8, 2023. Dr. Sourabh Sharma was invited to discuss challenges in coordinating body donations across India with other panelists. The session was moderated by Ms. Aprajita Verma from ORGAN India. ORGAN India was also invited to give a talk on its role as Team Managers for Team India at the 2023 World Transplant Games, showcasing the journey from athlete selection to their outstanding performance. The outcome of the team winning a greater number of medals than the total number of athletes was applauded by all and was a proud moment for us. Karhun Nanda, Captain of Team India at the World Transplant Games 2023 spoke about his experience at the Games. We extend our sincere thanks to NATCO and the organ transplant community for the enriching experience and valuable insights.
