ORGAN India-Hindustan Zinc Collaboration for Organ Donation Workshops in District Chittorgarh

ORGAN India is proud to collaborate with Hindustan Zinc to raise awareness on organ donation and transplant in 5 districts of Rajasthan. The third district covered was Chittorgarh District of Rajasthan from 20 th – 21 st of Sept’23 where 6 workshops were held at various Government Schools, Zinc Kaushal Kendra, Self-Help Groups and Zinc Central Hospitals. Dr Sourabh Sharma, Manager-Projects and Outreach, ORGAN India, Parashar Foundation took the workshops aimed at delivering a comprehensive and extremely informative presentation on organ donation.

1. Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Ajoliya ka Kheda, Chanderia, Chittorgarh, 21 stSept.’23 - The session was attended by 55 students and 4 teachers.

2. Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Suwaniya, Chanderiya, Chittorgarh 21 st Sept.’23 - The session was attended by 65 students of grade 9-12th. and 5 teachers.

3. Zinc Kaushal Kendra, Chanderia, Chittorgarh, 20 th Sept’23- The session was attended by 42 trainees and 1 faculty.

4. Tulsi Village Organisation, Ajoliya ka Kheda, Chanderia, Chittorgarh, 20 th Sept’23 - The session was attended by 18 Volunteers.

5. Sakhi Masala Unit, Moonga Kheda, Chanderia, Chittorgarh, 20 th Sept.’23 - The session was attended by 13 Sakhis.

6. Zinc Central Hospital, Zinc Colony, Chanderiya, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, 21 st sept.’23 - The session was attended by 19 staff members (Doctor and Nurses).
