MSAI Webinar – Career in Transplants

ORGAN India, in collaboration with the Medical Students Association of India (MSAI), hosted a webinar for medical students nationwide on the topic of & Careers in Transplant Surgery. Dr. Sandeep Attawar, Chair and Director of Thoracic Organ Transplants and Assist Devices at KIMS Institute for Heart &Lung Transplantation, spoke to the students about various aspects of transplantation, including heart transplants and the evolution of transplant surgery both globally and in India. The webinar, attended by over 70 students and streamed live on the MSAI YouTube channel, sparked great enthusiasm among the participants. The students showed a keen interest in pursuing careers in transplant surgery, engaging actively with Dr. Attawar during the session. This event aims to inspire a new generation of transplant surgeons in India.
